If you're constantly running from place to place all day, you won't have time to think about what you're doing nearly as much.
By working to limit the things that cause a great deal of stress in life, you'll have more energy to focus elsewhere.

There are many things in life that may be handled better by being more self-aware. You're sure to be able to get more out of life and simple daily living when you take the time and make the effort to do so. However, keep in mind that being self-aware will take some work to achieve.
